The role of Marketing & Sales within the Open University needed to move from passive order taking to strategic direction and influence. To develop this cultural change we needed ‘a model’ of best practice for marketing. I needed a Project Manager, but we didn’t have anyone internally with the correct skills. An external Project Manager who would train, coach and up skill the existing team to deliver. Someone who could work cross functionally within the business and influence at very senior levels. Ursuline did all of this with passion, determination and a healthy sense of humour . She delivered us a very successful Business School marketing and business development project which has been the catalyst for change and paved the way for future success.
Ursuline has worked on several other projects including a communications re-launch and a detailed segmentation strategy. The Greater London Chartered Institute of Marketing organises events that provide useful business skills and insights that help marketers with their professional development.
